DTM Rules

Slot.It ‘DTM’ rules – 2025 v1

Eligible cars.

Any Slot.It ‘DTM’ car.
(Currently these are Alfa Romeo 155, Opel Calibra, Mercedes 190E and Mercedes C Klasse).

These cars are basically to run ‘out of the box’ with few if any permitted changes.

1. No unpainted bodies (for cars built from kits)

2. No lightweight interiors.

3. Only original Slot.It inline unmodified chassis’ are permitted.

4. No magnets may be fitted.

5. The motor pod must be Slot.It – grey, 0.5mm offset, endbell drive.

6. Motor must be the original V12/4 21k motor as fitted to the original model. This will be either the earlier black endbell motor, or the latest white endbell motor that has `DTM`tampo printed on the side of the motor can. All motors will be checked to ensure that they do not exceed the permitted normal gauss level, or the maximum rpm (+10%).

7. Gear ratios – Pinion gear original 9t, Crown gear replace with Slot It bronze 26t (blue).

8. Axles – Only the original Slot.It solid axles are permitted.

9. Front axle ride height can be adjusted, either by the original set up, or replaced with
grub screws top and bottom.

10. Front and rear wheels must be original Slot.It :-
(sizes – 15.8 x 8 plastic front 15.8 x 8 aluminium rear)

11. Front and rear wheels must have inserts.

12. Front tyres are free, they may not be varnished or coated in any way.

13. Rear tyres :- Slot.It F22 (SIPT1207F22) may be used, or PCS F22 Race Control 18×10 Grey tyres (PCS-RT03g) may be used

14. Minimum ride height :- Front – 0.5mm, Rear – 1mm under the motor.

15. Guide must be Slot.It.

16. Braids are free.

17. Weight may be added.

18. Rear spoiler; if fitted; should where possible be present at Scrutineering.
It may be removed before racing to avoid damage / breakage during racing.

19. Suspension is allowed, but only spring based. Magnetic suspension is not allowed.

20. Anything not covered by these rules is not permitted. (Check with the Scrutineer.)
