Slot.It Group C rules – 2025 v1
Eligible cars.
Any Slot.It ‘Group C’ or IMSA car.
1. No unpainted bodies (for cars built from kits)
2. Body shells may not be modified. (Spoiler is not part of the body shell. Also see 20. below).
3. No lightweight interiors.
4. Chassis – original unmodified. The motor pod side ‘fillet’ pieces are not mandatory.
5. No magnets may be fitted.
6. The motor pod must be Slot.It, end-bell drive, grey, 0.5mm offset.
7. Motor must be either the original V12/3 21k motor, or as per the latest Group C cars,
the new V12/4 23k motor. You are permitted to change to the V12/4 23k motor or to
the V12/3 21k motor if you so desire. All motors will be checked to ensure that they
do not exceed the permitted normal gauss level.
8. Gear ratios must be the standard Slot.It 9/28 (bronze crown) gears.
9. Only original Slot.It solid metal axles are permitted.
10. Front axle ride height can be adjusted either with/by the original set up, or replaced with
grub screws top and bottom.
11. Front and rear wheels must be original.
12. Front and rear wheels must have inserts.
13. Front tyres are free, they may not be varnished or coated in any way.
14. Rear tyres :- Slot.It F22 ( SIPT1207F22), or PCS F22 Race Control 18×10 Grey/Black tyres (PCS-RT03g) may be used.
15. Maximum rear track width (outer tyre edge to opposing outer tyre edge) – 62mm
16. Minimum ride height – Front 0.5mm. Rear, 1mm measured under the motor.
17. Guide must be Slot.It. Deep ‘wood’ guides are not permitted.
18. Braids are free.
19. Weight may be added.
20. A rear spoiler; if fitted; should where possible be present at Scrutineering.
It may be removed before racing to avoid damage / breakage during racing.
21. Suspension is allowed, but only spring based. Magnetic suspension is not allowed.
22. Anything not covered by these Rules is not permitted. (Check with the Scrutineer)
