Scaleauto GT3 Rules – 2025 v1
Eligible cars.
Eligible cars :- Any Scaleauto GT3 Car
(excludes, Honda HSV, Pagani Zonda, & DeTomaso Panterra).
Rules
- No unpainted bodies. (for cars built from kits)
- Chassis must be the original Scaleauto black, or ‘R’ series black or grey, but not the RT4 chassis. Body must be standard. No lightweight interiors.
- No magnets may be fitted.
- Motor mount may be any Scaleauto or Slot.it anglewinder motor mount.
- Motor must be Scaleauto SC11B, or SC11c with original `wrapper`.
- Gear ratio 11-27, can be either original Scaleauto or can be changed to Slot.It.
- Only the original solid metal axles are permitted.
- Front wheel size free, plastic.
- Rear wheels to be either original Scaleauto or Slot It (non magnesium) alloys, or Slotting Plus `universal`. Minimum size:- 17.0 x 8 (or x 10). Maximum size:- 17.5 x 10. No other lightweight or magnesium, or `air hub` wheels are permitted.
- Front and rear wheels must have inserts.
- Front tyres are free, they must not be silcone, or varnished / coated in any way.
- Rear tyres can be either Scaleauto SC4735, or any Scaleauto ‘AS25/AS20’ tyres, specifically (SC4752, SC4756, SC4757, SC4760, SC4761), or Slot.It SIPT1171G25, SIPT1207G25, SIPT1323G25.
- Minimum ride height – Front 0.5mm, Rear 1mm rear under the motor.
- Guide – choice is free.
- Braids – choice is free.
- Minimum weight 85grms. Some cars may require ballast.
- Rear spoiler; if fitted; should where possible be present at Scrutineering. It may be removed before racing (to avoid damage), BUT see Rule 16.
- Suspension is allowed, but only spring based. Magnetic suspension is not allowed.
- Anything not covered by these rules is not permitted. (Check with the Scrutineer.)
