SSC- LMP/Inline GT Rules SSC– 2023
ELIGIBLE CARS:-
Any Sports, GT, LMP or Group C car from the following Manufacturers :-
Arrowslot, Avant Slot, Black Arrow, Carrera, Cartrix, FLY, MR Slotcar, Ninco, NSR, Proslot, Racer Sideways, Scaleauto, Scalextric, SCX, Sloter, Slot.It, Sloting Plus, Spirit.
ELIGIBLE MOTORS:-
Any motor that complies with Item/Rule 6 below.
RULES
1. No magnets may be fitted.
2. Max axle width 65 mm front & rear and must not protrude more than 1mm outside the body on either side, measured with tyres fitted.
3. Any axles or wheels may be used from the manufacturers of the above eligible cars provided they fit without chassis modification, including Ninco Pro-race, NSR, MB Slot, Hobby Slot & Slotline parts are allowed. No F1 size hubs.
4. Any bearings may be used from the above manufacturers. Bearings may be glued in. Roller bearings allowed.
5. Any proprietary tyres may be used front or rear provided that they fit the hubs, and must be of a consistent natural texture. No super glue or nail varnish or similar on front tyres. Tyres may be glued to hubs. Tyres may be trued.
No NSR red tyres, or F1, or silicon tyres or Ortmann tyres.
6. Any motor may be used from the eligible list, in any chassis, proprietary mounts may be used. Motors may not be modified. Motors may be glued and or taped in place. Gauss must not exceed 450. Maximum rpm 25k.
7. Chassis ;- Flexible chassis from the same manufacturer are allowed. Chassis may not be modified or painted, except to replace or reposition the motor. Any proprietary motor mount may be used. Any hole caused by motor re-location must be filled with Plasticard or similar. Motor must not be visible from above. On models where exhausts protrude through the body, these may be removed.Spring based suspension from any manufacturer maybe used.
8. All cars must run with full interior and driver except where the motor is repositioned, then the interior may be modified. Lightweight interiors may be used but they must be from a recognised manufacturer such as GOM, Sloting Plus, Slot.It or NSR. Windows may not be painted. Kit car bodies must be painted.
9. Body screws may be run loose.
10. Any guide blade may be used from the above eligible cars, provided it
fits without chassis modification. Guide blades and posts may be trimmed.
Sprung guides may be used with or without spring, or shortened spring.
11. Braids :- Free choice.
12. Minimum ride height:- Front 0.5mm. Rear, 1mm measured under the motor.
13. Suspension is allowed, but only spring based. Magnetic suspension is not allowed.
14. Anything not mentioned in the rules is not allowed. Check with Scrutineer.
