Scaleauto F1 90-97 Rules – 2023

Eligible cars.

Any scaleauto F1 90-97 car.

Rules

⦁ No unpainted bodies (for cars built from kits).

⦁ Bodies and chassis must remain standard and not modified.

⦁ No lightweight interiors.

⦁ All chassis’ must be the standard black.
Mounting screws (body or motor pod) may be loosened.

⦁ No magnets may be fitted.

⦁ Motor pods : standard as supplied/manufactured SC6523c.

⦁ Motor must be the standard SC0025b motor as fitted to prebuilt models.
Maybe upgraded to SC0025c as fitted to new models.

⦁ Gear ratios:- ONLY the standard ratio as per the ‘ready to run’ models of :-
26/10. May be changed to slot.it brass equvalent.

⦁ Only original solid axles front and rear are permitted.

⦁ Front axle ride height and movement may be adjusted by the use of grub screws.

Front Wheels – Standard scaleauto 14×10

Rear Wheels – Standard scaleauto 14×13

⦁ Front and rear wheels must have inserts.

⦁ Front tyres:- original fit Scalauto SC4762 front tyres, as supplied.
Minimum diameter when fitted to the hub 17mm .
These may not be sanded down/trimmed in any way, or coated
with varnish, super-glue, or any other coating.

⦁ Rear tyres :- original fit Scalauto SC4763 rear tyres.
Minimum tyre diameter when fitted to the hub 18mm.

NOTE:- The use of any front and/or rear F1 tyre (other than those specified above)
from any manufacturer is not permitted.

⦁ Maximum axle width :- Outer edge of rim or tyre to the opposing outer rim/tyre edge..
Front – 69mm, Rear – 69mm.

⦁ Minimum ride height – Front 0.5mm, Rear, 1mm under the motor.

⦁ Guide, braid and screws are free choice.

⦁ Weight may be added but must not be visible.

⦁ Anything not covered by these Rules is not permitted. (Check with the Scrutineer.)
