ELIGIBLE CARS

Any Sports, GT, LMP or Group C car from the following manufacturers:-

Arrowslot, Avant Slot, Black Arrow, Carrera, Fly, Mr Slotcar, Ninco, NSR, ProSlot, Racer Sideways, Scaleauto, Scalextric, SCX, Slotter, Slot.it, Slotting Plus, Spirit.

ELIGIBLE MOTORS

Any motor that adheres to item 7.

RULES

1. No magnets may be fitted to the chassis.

2. Cars with inline or anglewinder mounted motors may add up to 5gm of ballast. Cars with sidewinder mounted motors may add up to 10gm of ballast.

3. Maximum axle width of 65mm front and rear, not more than 1mm outside the body on either side, measured with tyres fitted.

4. Any axles or wheels may be used from the manufacturers above, provided they fit without chassis modification, including Ninco Pro-race, MB Slot, Hobby Slot and Slotline parts. No F1 size hubs.

5. Any bearings may be used from the manufacturers listed above and in item 4. Bearings may be glued in. Roller bearings are allowed.

6. Wheels/tyres:- Any proprietary tyres may be used front and rear provided that they fit the hubs. No super glue, nail varnish or similar is permitted on the front tyres. Rear tyres may be trued and may also be glued to the hubs. Not permitted are F1 size wheels, silicon or Ortmann tyres.

7. Any motor may be used. Motors may not be modified. Maximum motor rpm is 25k and maximun gauss must not exceed 450. Motors may be screwed, glued or taped in place.

8. A proprietary motor mount from the list or manufactures must be used.

9. Chassis may not be changed, modified or painted, except to replace or reposition the motor or to reinforce the rear of the chassis on the following Ninco models – Honda NSX, Toyota Supra or Mosler. A Ninco, Slot.it, Spirit or similar mount may be used. Any hole caused by motor relocation must be filled level with plasticard. The motor must not be visible from above. On cars where exhausts protrude through the body, these may be removed.

10. Bodyshell:- All cars must run with a full interior and driver, except where the motor is repositioned, the interior may be modified. The body must be painted. Windows may not be painted. Lightweight interiors may be used but they must be from a recognised manufacturer such as GOM, Slot.it, Slotting plus or NSR.

11. Body screws may run loose.

12. Any guide blade may be used from the above eligible cars, provided that it fits without chassis modification. Guide blades and posts may be trimmed. Sprung guides may be used with or without the spring or using a shortened spring.

13. Minimum ride height:- Front 0.5mm  – Rear 1.0mm measured under the motor.

14. Rear spoiler, if fitted, where possible should be present at scrutineering. It may be removed before racing to avoid damage / breakage.

15. Anything not mentioned in the rules is not permitted. (Check with the scrutineer).
